The most expensive streets in Britain have been revealed and Kensington Palace Gardens has retained the top spot with an average property price of £35.6 million, according to Zoopla’s annual Rich List. The top 10 most expensive streets are all located in London.

Often referred to as “Billionaires Row” due to the vast wealth of its residents, Kensington Palace Gardens is one of the most expensive residential streets in the world, with an average property price of £35.6 million.

Kensington Palace Gardens, built in the 1840s on part of the grounds of Kensington Palace,  still belongs to the Crown Estate. There are armed police officers at both ends of the street.

Kensington Palace, a stone’s throw away from the street, is home to several members of the Royal family including Prince William and Kate and Prince Harry and Meghan.

Grosvenor Crescent

Average Price £21.7 million

The second most expensive street in Britain is Grosvenor Crescent with an average house price of £21.7 million.

Located in the heart of London’s Belgravia, a stone’s throw away to both Knightsbridge and Hyde Park and a short walk from Buckingham Palace, Grosvenor Crescent is made up of 28 houses and flats.

The Grade II-listed properties are thought to have been built between 1837 and 1860 and is home to the Belgium Embassy.
