Dunhelm, one of the UK’s largest homeware retailers, have reported a 9 per cent increase in like-for-like sales for the last quarter.
Store revenue increased by 5.7% to £246 million, with online sales up by 37.9% to £36 million.
The overall growth for the group was 2.0%, reflecting the closure of both the Worldstores and Kiddicare websites.

By focusing back on our core business, under one Dunelm brand, we are improving our trading and financial performance.”
Dunelm, a FTSE 250 company, founded in 1979 as a market stall business, opened its first shop in Leicester in 1984. The first Dunelm superstore was opened in 1991.
The company currently operates 171 stores and employs approximately 10,000 staff.
