A 1990 BMW M3, with only 27,800 miles, has sold for $98,000 at RM Sotheby’s Florida auction. The car’s original black leather interior shows few signs of wear and the exterior having recently been treated to $3,000 worth of paint correction and ceramic coating looks exceptional.
The car was originally delivered to California, and then exported to Japan a few years later. The M3 returned to North America in 2008 and remained with its owner until late last year. The only modifications from stock are the exhaust temperature sensor and side marker lights that are mandatory in Japan. The car also received a high-quality two-stage repaint in its correct Diamond Black metallic finish.
